Dear Partner in Christ,

We are writing to you today to ask for your support as we believe that our God who raises up generations of leaders is doing a new thing through the ministry of Jericho Falls. Jericho Falls Ministry, which began in 1996, took an active role for a decade influencing the lives of young people, organizing events that empowered a new generation of youth and their churches. We started by helping local churches through leading praise during retreats, and went on to host our own praise nights for youth, college and young adults. We also tirelessly traveled to Virginia, Pennsylvania and Tennessee to support churches in their youth ministries. We were ultimately led to hold our own annual leadership conference called Daniel Project where select youth leaders, along with their teachers and pastors were challenged and trained to become history makers for our Lord.  Subsequently, many of our past students and staff moved on to become influential pastors, teachers and leaders of our local churches.  We bore witness to the many great things the Lord did through our ministry, and we are excited to reimagine a new way of influencing the youth of today. 

Well aware that this new “smart” generation lives in a society with very different challenges and issues than from the past, we also recognize that this same generation hungers to know their true identity in Christ, a hunger that is timeless and connects all Christians of all generations. In recognition of this new generation, Jericho Falls no longer dwells in the past, but is inspired to re-ignite our passion for youth to pursue the new things that are springing up today. We remember the words of Isaiah 43:18-19 which proclaim, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”  We, the members of JFM respond to this important call, and say “yes.”

We not only believe, but we perceive that the Holy Spirit is calling us to do a new thing.  We long to take an active role in ministering to the youth of today, and pray that we would witness this new generation be renewed and redeemed by what is springing up in the ground. We pray not only for rain to fall on this dry and barren spiritual landscape, but we pray for new growth to spring out of the ground.

Please partner up with us in order to impact this young generation. We are currently in the midst of planning a leadership conference this August of 2019, our first in over a decade, and we ask for your partnership in both prayer and finances as we take on this endeavor. We reach out to you to ask for financial support to help us accomplish our plans for this summer’s 4-day youth leadership conference. We project that this event will host over 300 students, teachers and leaders who are hungry for something new, and our financial needs encompass a range of expenses from giving to our anointed speakers, seminar leaders, and dedicated staff down to the nitty-gritty of administrative and supply needs. We are in need of your help to carry this vision into action.

As we plan and pray on our end, we also ask that you would please pray with us as we ask for wisdom and favor from the Lord, as well as from our neighbors, churches and youth. We continue to see God’s power greatly at work in this very complicated world, and we are excited to be active agents and influencers of Christ as we walk this path with our future generations.
